The best news of all? The U of A offers听 to choose from, so you鈥檙e bound to find a few that fit your interests. From ballroom dance to roller derby, astronomy to pickleball, there鈥檚 something for everyone.
To help you get started, we鈥檝e rounded up a handful of the top options for first-year students.

Looking to make your voice heard and give back to the Wildcat community? Consider joining ASUA, the university鈥檚 official student government. You鈥檒l get to influence university policies, volunteer in a number of ways, plan exciting campus events, run for leadership positions, and so much more.

If you want to give your r茅sum茅 a boost, the Blue Chip Leadership Experience may be the perfect fit for you. Although it requires taking for-credit courses, it鈥檚 so much more than sitting in a classroom. Blue Chip gives you the chance to hone your leadership abilities through teamwork and collaboration, internships, and other professional experiences.
